On January 20, 2026, KR International (CEO Kwak Woo-hyun) and the Korea Defense Diplomacy Association (Chairman Kwon Tae-hwan) signed an agreement to collaborate on revitalizing defense diplomacy activities and overseas consulting projects. The partnership aims to promote national interests by leveraging the unique capabilities and infrastructure of both organizations.
The Korea Defense Diplomacy Association (KDDA) is a public-interest non-profit organization composed of former practitioners in the field of defense diplomacy. It contributes to national development by actively applying its members' extensive experience and expertise to national security strategy, defense policy formulation, and defense export initiatives.
KR International is a specialized railway technology company that supports railway development in developing countries, helping to lay the groundwork for their national growth. Through this partnership, both organizations expect to generate significant synergy in expanding Korea’s global footprint and national interests, while also contributing to the growth and development of developing nations.
